We went to the county fair the end of July, and had a lot of fun. Here I am riding my favorite thing in the whole world!

Grandma Rita, Steven and Alexa came to visit this weekend on their way to E-town. We picked peaches, nectarines, and then came home and played in the pool. That felt good after working out in the fields

We were just sitting down to dinner tonight, and who should join us but 2 deer. The boy deer moved out of view before we could get the camera. In fact, we didn’t even go for the camera at first, until bambi started closing in on our little garden.

She made it as close as the sedum plant, and then moved back to the flowering crab prior to joining rudolph in our neighbors back yard. It was fun to watch!

Daddy is playing with my pictures, and went with a black and white theme for today. My pigtails are really growing out fast!

I helped mommy and daddy with the yardwork, cleaning my pool, and grocery shopping this morning. For Breakfast, I helped daddy make blueberry muffins. I told mommy that if she was hungry for more, she should go get herself another one. For lunch I had a turkey and cheese wrap, and then helped mom and dad with their crusty bread and goat cheese snack.

I’m 3 now, and here are some pictures. I got puzzles, books, nice cards, and a friendly snake. He is pink and yellow, and gave everyone kisses. Here I am opening presents.

Grandma R. is reading to me. She also worked a puzzle with me.

I was hoping for a big-big chocolate Mickey cake. I got my ears:

But where is the cake? Here it is, and it IS Big-big!

We all had a big-big piece of cake – and grandma had another small-small piece too!

Backyard fun

Here I am smiling at my hand. Perhaps I’m amuzed by dew from the shrub.

Daddy has since raked the leaves. We’re going to fix up the yard some this year.

Mommy wants a flowering crab in the corner of the yard.

Daddy wants to fix the fence, and move the gate.

Perhaps I’m amuzed by the amount of work Mommy and Daddy get themselves into.

Here is a good one – I’m wearing daddy’s old smoking jacket.

I’m curious as to why daddy was smoking at age 2, and furthermore, why he felt he needed to be this dressed up while doing so, but it was fun to wear for a while.
